Value Resorts
If you choose to stay at a value resort, you can expect to pay about $100-$250 per night. While the value resorts are still extremely nice, they might not have as many amenities as some of the more expensive resorts.
Some examples of Disney’s value hotels include Disney’s Art of Animation, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.
Moderate Resorts
To stay at Disney’s moderate-priced resorts, you can expect to spend around $250-$350 per night. These resorts have more upgrades than value resorts such as waterslides, themed rooms, and restaurants.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort all fall into the moderate category.
Deluxe Resorts
If you want more luxury during your Disney vacation, a deluxe resort may be the best option for you. Deluxe resorts cost anywhere from $350-$500 per night.
These resorts have spas, salons, plenty of restaurants, large pool areas with waterslides, and special perks.
Cost of Food at Disney World
How much money you spend on food at Walt Disney World will completely depend on your preferences. Your options are to bring your own food into the park, buy food from the restaurants within the park, or sign up for a Disney Dining Plan.
Pack Your Own Meals
One of the great things about Walt Disney World is that you can bring your own food into the park. If you are visiting with your entire family, this is a great way to save money because you can pack a lunch and snacks.
Eat at Disney Restaurants
If you don’t feel like packing your own food, you can eat from the restaurants. A meal in a quick-service restaurant will cost about $15-$20 per adult and $10-$12 per child. A meal in a sit-down-style restaurant will cost about $40 per adult and $25 per child.
Disney Dining Plans
Food at Disney restaurants can add up quickly but if you plan on spending all day in the park, you may be able to save money by signing up for a Disney Dining Plan.
Disney has several different dining plans but two of the most popular are the quick-service dining plan and the regular dining plan.
The Quick-Service Dining Plan allows you to get two quick-service meals per day, a refillable mug, and two snacks per day. It costs approximately $55 per adult per day and $26 per child.
The standard Disney Dining Plan will allow you to get one quick-service meal per day, one table-service meal per day, two snacks, and a refillable mug. It costs $95 per adult and $35 per child.
Cost of Transportation to Disney
Another expense that you may encounter during your trip to Disney is the cost of transportation. If you decide to fly into Orlando, you will have to pay for the cost of the flight. Fortunately, if you stay at a Disney Resort, there will be a free shuttle to your hotel.
Driving to Walt Disney World may be cheaper than flying depending on where you live. If you decide to drive to Disney World, keep in mind that you will need to pay for parking at the resort. Parking typically costs $15-$25 per night.
